Spider-Man 3 The Game Trailer
Spider-Man 3 Trailer

The Spider-Man 3 trailer lets you check out all the exciting action of this hit video game, which landed in stores in 2007. While the game had a number of fans back in the day, those trying to play it today will find that it looks fairly dated and isn't as exciting as they remembered. Watching the trailer lets you see the best parts of the game without actually playing.

This trailer starts out with a classic scene of Spider-Man swinging through the air with his web shooters as he flies through New York City. It includes images of him in his symbiotic black suit, which references a popular story from the comic book series. Another iconic scene shown in the trailer features Spider-Man sitting on top of a flag pole as he checks out his city.

Spider-Man is one of the most popular and iconic superheroes of all time. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the character started out as Peter Parker, a high school student who loved taking pictures. After a radioactive spider bit him while on a class field trip, he developed super powers and became Spider-Man. The character appeared in dozens of comic book titles, on television and in films. As of 2017, the character had three film franchises built around him.

The developers of Spider-Man 3 based the game on the events and story featured in the hit film of the same name, which starred Tobey Maguire as the iconic character. This film featured the first appearance of Gwen Stacey, one of his girlfriends in the comic books. It also saw the introduction of Venom, one of the villains from the series. Some of those same characters appear in the game.

This trailer doesn't come with any special features and doesn't let you try out the game for yourself. It is just the trailer. The good news is that it downloads quickly and only takes a few minutes to download and set up. Once you save a copy on your computer, you can watch the action anytime that you want. The game itself received some mixed reviews and isn't as much fun as you might think. If you try to play it today, you'll see how old and dated the graphics look. Those graphics look much better in this trailer.

If you're a Spider-Man fan and want to check out one of the more popular games that feature him and characters from his comic books, download a copy of this trailer. It shows you exciting scenes of the character flying through the city and iconic images that will make you want to check out this game and others that feature classic characters from the Marvel universe.

Pros:

  • Features real gameplay from the game
  • Uses some of the clips featured in the game
  • Downloads quickly
  • Doesn't take up much hard drive space

Cons:

  • Might look dated to those who played more recent Spider-Man games
  • Includes just the trailer and no special features

Spider Man 3 is a video game based on the movie featuring the evil alien symbiote known as Venom.

This trailer depicts game play and music from the game, which is an action game originally made for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. The plot loosely follows the movie but includes extra content, levels and villains. The game culminates in a battle between Spidey, Venom and a gigantic Sandman.

The game features the villains from the movie including Venom, Sandman and "New Goblin." It also expands upon the films' story, including other Spidey villains like The Lizard, The Kingpin, The Scorpion and The Black Cat.

In many cases, voices are done by the actors from the film. Peter Parker is played by Tobey Maguire, Harry Osborn is James Franco and Topher Grace portrays Venom. Mary Jane is portrayed by Kari Wahlgren rather than Kirsten Dunst. The game is narrated by none other than "Ash" of Evil Dead fame, Bruce Campbell.

Manhattan is freely explorable in "sandbox" style game play similar to the Grand Theft Auto franchise. As Spider-Man, the player can web-swing across the city to their hearts' content.

Web-swinging is done by latching onto buildings and launching quick webs and is regarded as the most fun part of the game. The city is big enough to merit exploring and graphically looks quite good for the time. The game utilizes some nice lighting effects to create reflections of the sun off of windows.

The city is dotted with open missions easily found on the city map. These missions can be accomplished independent of the overall story.

There are also God of War-style quick-time events for scenarios such as Spider-man having to dodge a complex series of lasers. There is also a bullet-time feature that slows the game down to help Spidey dodge attacks.

The game was criticized a bit for being too similar to the Spider-Man 2 game, as well as for its short story mode. Some fans also didn't like how New Goblin was only fully playable on certain systems. Tobey Maguire's voice acting was universally praised.

This trailer features Spider-Man swinging through the city and facing off with his main enemies -- Venom, Sandman and New Goblin. There are also glimpses of Spider-Man in the black costume. It is set to rich orchestral music and presents the game in an epic, cinematic vein.

Pros:

Voice work by Tobey McGuire

Awesome Music

Venom is in this

Cons:

Dated Graphics

Emo Peter Parker
